Introducing LightLink – Wireless Race Lighting, and the new Z5 Multi-Zone Race Controller
LightLink is a wireless race lighting control system designed to improve safety, visibility, and efficiency at motorsport venues. any speedway, karting, motorcycle and motorsport clubs face the same challenge: finding enough flag marshals and trackside officials to keep competitors clearly informed of track conditions. That challenge is exactly why we developed LightLink, a wireless race-lighting system designed and manufactured here in Australia, and it's why we've now released the LightLink Race Control Z5.
In brief, LightLink gives Race Control wireless command of up to 10 trackside light stations – red, yellow and green – over a proven range of 5km+ in open country. The new Z5 controller takes that further, with:
- Up to 5 independently configurable lighting zones around the circuit
- Selective caution control – flag just the affected section, not the whole track
- A Blue overtaking indication for designated zones (4-colour lights)
The standard LightLink Race Control system remains available for clubs wanting straightforward full-course control, and every remote station reports its own signal strength and status back to Race Control in real time, so officials always know the system is live.
