FK HRSMX Series Rod ends feature 18-22 degrees of
mis-alignment and are constructed from heat treated
4340 chromoly steel for extra strength. These rod ends
have teflon bonded to the inner race for self lubrication,
and are chromate treated and zinc plated for corosion
resistance. Extra large shank provides added support
in construction of critical components of your race car.

FABRICATION PARTS
Available in 2 grades of high quality aircraft alloy steel,
these axles are heat-treated and center less ground for a
smooth consistent finish. The end dia. has been maximized
to get the most face contact possible, minimizing wear
between the axle and cv. The spline length has been
increased to 2" - 3" to allow the cv to float on the axle. The
center part of the axle is sized to twist like a torsion bar
under heavy loads absorbing a large portion of the shock
transmitted from the wheel to the gearbox.
These axles are crafted from forged aircraft alloy steel,
precision machined, heat treated and center less
ground for a smooth finish. The middle dia. of these
axles are not tapered like stock axles, instead the middle
diameter is consistent all the way to the spline permitting
the axle to twist under heavy loads, helping to prevent
transaxle breakage.
Available in Flush Head, Oval Head, or Self-Eject styles, and slotted for DZUS tool,
or Winged Style for easy removal without tools. Generally speaking we suggest
using Flush Head Style for aluminum or steel body panels, and Oval Head or
Self-Eject Style for fiberglass.

Spring selection: We suggest using Flat Springs (.300 height) for fiberglass, and

Our Universal Fender Mounts are
designed for securely mounting fiberglass
fenders, bedsides, cabsides, door panels,
and roof skins. Urethane grommets are
1.5" OD and fit into a .75" hole. Each
mount includes a 3" long x 1.5" wide steel
tab, urethane grommet, stainless steel
allen screw and nylock nut.

Universal Tube Brackets are designed to work with thier
universal bushing assemblies. These tube brackets greatly
simplify fabrication of various chassis components such as
roll cage bars, bumper mounts, motor and transmission
mounts, and bed cages. Tube brackets are notched to weld
to corresponding tubing sizes shown. Available in 1.25",
1.50", 1.75", and 2.00" sizes. Bushing assemblies sold

Camburg 2.0" Bump Stop Mounting Cans are designed to be
welded to your frame or chassis and the double pinch bolt
design ensures your hydraulic bump stops will not move on
the hardest g-outs. High quality chromoly construction with
F-911 hardware makes these cans a great choice for your
race truck, buggy, or pre-runner. 2.0" mounting can will
accept Fox, Bilstein, King, or Sway-A-Way brand bump stops.
LIGHT RACING tubular chassis componnentsare built to exacting
standards. Made from 4140N chromoly these weld into stock
tubing sizes. Pinch bolt maintains high clamping force. Includes
grade 8 bolt, metal locking nut, and 2 AN washers.

Dura Blue VW Racing Stub Axles are manufactured
from high quality chromoly. The Type 2 and the 930
Porsche CV versions feature a deep bell for extra
axle plunge clearance. Both Type 2 and 930 accept
3/8" fine thread CV bolts.

These VW long spline conversion stub axles are
made to fit VW Type 1 IRS style trailing arms and

We recommend using an aftermarket CV cage
when using a stock 934, 930, or type 2 CV joints for
your long travel suspension. These cages are
made with the correct hardness so they don't
break at high operating angles. We offer 300M for
the best in strength, or Chromoly for durability and
value. The GKN cage is a direct replacement for the
GKN "Prepped" CV joint, but it will work in a stock
CV joint as well.

The standard 930 CV (P/N 930 CV) is an stock Porsche part. We highly reccomend a chromoly or 300M cage, and preparation with a special
polishing stone in order to survive high operating angles encountered in modern race car suspension.
The German GKN factory prepped cv joint features a chromoly cage, lightened housing, and looser tolerances for increased axle angles.
No preparation is required for this cv joint, just grease with cv moly grease, and go racing.
We also offer a 930 CV kit with Quality German CV joint (P/N RR 930PCVKit), which includes chromoly cage, boot, boot flange, CV bolts,
spiral lock, and CV grease. CV housing has been "race prepped" and lightened to reduce rotational mass and frees up horsepower.
Finally we offer the EMPI Hi-Performance 930 CV Joint (P/N MB 98-5094B). This CV joint features chromoly cage, and precision machined
alloy outer housing with looser tolerances so it's ready to grease and go. Outer housing is grooved to aid in cooling, and lighten the joint
which lowers rotating mass.

GKN 934.5 "Prepped" CV joint (P/N 934CVP) is ready to run out of the box from the factory. The 934.5 "Prepped" CV is built with looser
tolerances which let it plunge freely throughout suspension travel. Built with hardened chromoly cage, and precision machined alloy
outer housing, this is the CV of choice for high horsepower race cars or sand buggies. Outer housing is lightened with grooves to cut
down rotating mass, and aid in cooling. Also available in a non-grooved version (934CVPWOG)

98-5097B is a standard fit non-grooved CV, while P/N 98-5098B is looser fit non-grooved CV to allow for maximum angles. P/N 98-5096B
features hardened alloy inner and outer race, and machined grooved outer housing to lighten CV and aid in cooling. Lower weight
improves acceleration.

VW Axle Spacer Kits . These kits are designed to replace the stock
spacers in swing axle and IRS applications. They are made from
heat-treated alloy steel to resist crushing which causes loose axle nuts

4 Pad Clutch Disc. Only for racing applications when intentional slippage would normally burn up an organic lining. 4 puck will grab better than
organic to reduce slippage when hot. KEP 4 Pad is specially lightened to reduce the effect of inertia while shifting. Not recommended for street
because of harsh engagement. Solid center eliminates spring failure.
6 Pad Clutch Disc. Preferred in sandrail or pre-runner applications. Excess surface area and inertia means more slippage than 4 pad, but a little
easier on transaxles components. KEP 6 Pad is specially lightened to reduce the effect of inertia while shifting.
